Reset Reflections – Weeks 2 and 3

I’m now a week post-Reset, starting to phase foods back into my diet, and feeling amazing! I’ll share my results shortly, but in the meantime, here’s how weeks 2 and 3 went.

Week 2 was the first fully-vegan week. I never would have imagined myself eating a vegan diet, but not only am I doing it, I enjoy it! Continue reading

Reset Reflections – Week 1

Started week 3 of the Ultimate Reset today, but wanted to give you an idea of what my first week was like! Here are some of my reflections on that first week:

Really and truly, I went into this just wanting to get myself back into a healthy groove, to get out of some bad habits. I’m all about moderation, and firmly believe that indulging every once in a while is a good thing (especially once you’ve met your goals)… ice cream every night before bed and more fast food than real food for lunch was too much! Let’s Hit Reset

(Note: I wrote this post almost a week ago, and then completely forgot to post it… Because this is my life!)

There’s the transformation to motherhood, which is so significant it seems almost too much for a social media post. My transformation with Jesus, again, too big, to real for an Instagram post. And right now my little man’s transformation is fast and furious and bittersweet to just tag and move on from. (I’ve always been told they grow up fast… Seriously y’all, where is the time going?!?!?)

Recently, however, I have begun to experience a transformation that is worth documenting. Not just because it’s the thing to do, but for accountability. I’ve started to transform the way I view food, health, and fitness (which is a whole other post!) which has started to transform my body. Continue reading
